About This Product
This polished Spyke 1.4KW starter motor is a high-torque solution for a wide range of early eighties Big Twins. It fits 1980 to 1986 FXWG and FXSB, 1984 to early 1986 FXST, 1982 Classic, and 1983 to 1985 FLH models, as well as other 1980 to 1984 Big Twins, excluding FLT and FXR models. Specifically designed for models with a rear belt drive and a fine gear setup, this starter uses a gear reduction system to provide 200% more torque than stock. This allows even high-compression engines to fire up easily using a standard battery. With its short, clean profile and polished finish, it combines modern starting reliability with a classic custom aesthetic, utilizing automotive-grade internals for lasting durability.
