About This Product
MCS Prestolite starter shaft housing. This is the outer housing for the starter shaft assembly on Prestolite starters. It fits 1965 to early 1979 FL and 1971-1972 FX models. Replaces OEM 31465-65. Use this when the original housing is cracked or the drive alignment has shifted. Correct fitment keeps the starter drive lined up with the ring gear. It is a basic part for any Prestolite starter rebuild.
Manufacturer part number: 504000.
