About This Product
This stock-style replacement fuel tank from MCS is designed for 1958 to 1978 XL Sportster models and suits a variety of custom applications. With a 2.25-gallon capacity and right-side petcock fitting, it accepts pre-1983 bayonet-type fuel caps. The tank measures approximately 39 cm long, 18 cm high, and 23 cm wide, with a tunnel inner diameter of 4.5 cm. It replaces Harley-Davidson OEM part number 61006-63B. Supplied with a protective paint coating intended for storage only, it is strongly recommended to pressure test, seal, and test-fit the tank before applying your final finish and installation.
