About This Product
The S&S M8 primary compensator ramp and sliding cam replaces the stock part in the engine sprocket compensator kit, matching OEM 40100076. It is CNC machined in the USA from 9000 series steel, then heat-treated and coated. It fits 2018–2026 Softail and 2017–2026 Touring and Trike models. It handles the shock loads between the crankshaft and transmission. The stock compensator ramp is a known weak point in the Milwaukee-Eight primary drive, particularly on tuned motors.
