About This Product
This chrome-plated 40-spoke rear wheel is a solid replacement for 2000 to 2006 Softail and Dyna models. Measuring 3.00 x 16, it comes professionally laced and trued, with seals already installed and bearing spacing pre-set for a straightforward installation. Because it is wider than stock, it is ideal for custom wide tire applications, though you should check for clearance against your fender and belt before fitting. As with any wire wheel, I recommend checking the spoke tension before you mount the tire, then again after the first 250km and during regular 5000km service intervals to ensure everything stays tight. It carries OEM number 578496 and is ready to get your bike back on the road with a classic look.
