About This Product
JIMS 1.8kW high-torque starter motor. It has a chrome finish. It fits 1989 to 1993 Big Twin models and delivers more torque than the stock 1.4kW unit. Softail, Dyna, and FXR models need the oil lines and wiring relocated to clear the larger body. 1990 to 2006 Touring models need the JIMS oil filler spout spacer. Make sure your battery can supply the amperage this 1.8kW motor draws.
