About This Product
This JIMS camshaft ball bearing kit is a high-quality replacement for the front and rear outer cam bearings on 1999 to 2006 Twin Cam models, excluding 2006 Dynas. These bearings replace OEM 8990 and 8990A. While the factory moved to a roller bearing for the rear position in 2001 to handle heavier loads, these early-style ball bearings are perfectly compatible with all 1999-2006 models in both the front and rear positions, especially when using gear-driven cams. They offer smooth operation and reliable performance for your valvetrain. The kit includes two bearings, providing everything you need for the outer cam support plate.
