About This Product
This MCS outer camshaft ball bearing is a high-quality replacement for the OEM 8990A style bearing. It is designed to fit as both the front and rear outer cam bearing on 1999 to 2006 Twin Cam models, excluding the 2006 Dyna. While the factory eventually moved to a roller bearing for the rear position to handle heavier loads, these early-style ball bearings are still a perfectly viable and reliable option for all 1999 to 2006 applications, especially when running gear-driven cams. Sold individually, this bearing ensures smooth camshaft operation and is a critical component for maintaining the health of your Twin Cam's valve train. This part replaces OEM 8990A and 921136.
