About This Product
This Paughco Mustang universal gas tank offers a classic custom look with a generous 4.75-gallon (18-liter) capacity. Designed primarily for Big Twin models, it features horseshoe-style front mounts and a tab-style rear mount. The tank is set up for a single pre-1983 bayonet-style vented gas cap and a 22mm 1975-up style petcock. Measuring approximately 19.5" in length and 13" in width, this tank provides a substantial profile for any custom build. As with all aftermarket tanks, it is highly recommended to pressure test, seal, and test fit the unit before painting and final installation to ensure a perfect, leak-free finish on your project.
