About This Product
MCS starter shaft measures 170mm. It fits 1965 to 1969 Big Twin models covering the Panhead to early Shovelhead changeover. When engagement gets lazy the shaft is often the culprit. This replacement matches the original factory dimensions and replaces OEM 31482-65. Fit it and the starter drive will mesh cleanly. Check the support bushing while you are in there.
