This MCS wristpin retaining ring tool installs round wire rings such as OEM 22589-83A. It saves you from overstretching the ring or launching it across the workshop when you are fitting it into the piston groove. It fits 1984 to 1999 Big Twin models excluding Twin Cams, 1986 to 2022 XL Sportsters, 2008 to 2012 XR1200 models, and 1987 to 2010 Buell models. Keep it to hand for top-end work on Evolution or Sportster engines. OEM reference 925533.
