About This Product
MCS 24-tooth compensating sprocket. Replaces OEM 40275-83A. Fits 1983 to 1990 Big Twin models. Excludes FLT Touring and FXR models. Fit this when the primary is chattering or the old sprocket is hooked. Direct replacement. No machining needed. Torque the compensating nut to spec and check primary chain condition while you are in there. The 24-tooth count matches the original factory primary drive ratio.
