MCS starter shaft nut. Direct replacement for OEM 31312-80 and 931312 on rear belt drive models. Secures the starter shaft in the primary against the torque of ignition. Finished for corrosion resistance. Use the correct clamping load to avoid failure in the primary drive and starter assembly. Sold individually.
