These S&S chrome-moly replacement piston rings are a plus .030-inch oversize, designed for all S&S 4-inch bore Super Sidewinder engines, including both Evolution and Twin Cam styles. Sold as a set for two cylinders, these rings are critical for maintaining compression and engine efficiency. When installing, it is vital to check the ring gap; S&S recommends a gap of .004 inches per inch of cylinder diameter for street engines to prevent premature wear or seizure. For a 4-inch bore, this means a precise setup is required. These rings are the standard for high-performance S&S engine maintenance and help ensure your motor continues to run at its peak.
