For 1937 to 1948 74-inch U model Flathead engines requiring a maximum oversize, this .080-inch piston kit from MCS is the solution. These cast aluminum, OEM-style pistons are designed for stock 1200cc Side Valve rebuilds where the cylinders have been bored to their limit. The kit includes everything necessary for the installation: pistons, wrist pins, retainers, and rings. As with any major engine work on a vintage Flathead, professional installation and a careful break-in period are required to ensure the engine performs reliably. This kit is sold under OEM number 946423 and helps preserve the life of classic Big Twin cylinder blocks.
