About This Product
JIMS line reamer reams the pinion shaft bushing in the cam cover on 1954 to 1999 Big Twin models, excluding Twin Cam engines. It also reams the idler gear bushing on 1957 to early 1984 XL Sportster models. Ream the bushings in place to get the right oil clearance. That lets the shafts spin freely without binding or wearing out early. Use it when you are overhauling the cam chest on a vintage or Evolution-era Harley.
