About This Product
JIMS crankcase lap tool for the pinion bearing race in the right-side crankcase. It fits 1958 to 1999 Big Twins, excluding Twin Cams. The dual-support design guides the lap from both sides of the race. A base plate on the cam gear side locates on the engine case pins. It holds tolerances within .0002 inches. You can drive it with a low-speed drill without chatter, or turn it by hand. It centres the pinion race with the flywheel assembly.
