About This Product
MCS shifter cam plunger ball spring for hand shift and tank shift models. It fits 1940-1973 45-inch Flathead models and 1936-1976 Big Twin tank shift models. It replaces OEM 2251-36A and 34057-36. This spring pushes the detent ball into the cam notches to hold the selected gear. Weak springs cause the lever to feel sloppy and the box to jump out. Sold as a set of ten. Keep spares in the drawer.
