About This Product
Samwel lock screw for the shifter cam plunger ball. It fits 1940-1973 45-inch Flathead models and 1937-1976 Big Twin hand shift models. It replaces OEM 2251-36B and 34053-36. This screw retains the spring and ball that give the detent feel between gears. If it backs out or strips the threads the lever goes vague and the box pops out of gear. Sold individually. Use thread sealant and torque it properly.
