About This Product
Samwel large shifter shaft bushing for 1937-1973 45-inch Flathead models. It replaces OEM 2242-38C and 34432-38. This bushing centres the shifter shaft in the transmission case. When it wears the shaft wobbles and the box leaks oil past the bore. It is sold individually. Fit a fresh one during any transmission overhaul to keep the shaft running true. Check the small bushing on the opposite side too.
Manufacturer part number: 0224204.
