When you are running 3-5/8" big bore cylinders on a classic 1963 to 1965 Panhead or a 1966 to 1984 Shovelhead, you need a base gasket that can handle the extra heat and pressure. This Cometic cylinder base gasket set is made from .020" fiber, a premium high-temperature and high-density material specifically designed to be creep-resistant. One of the best things about these is that they require no re-torquing and no additional sealants, making your top-end assembly much cleaner. They are completely fuel-resistant and asbestos-free. This kit includes both the front and rear gaskets for one engine and is sold as a pair. It is a reliable choice for keeping your vintage big bore motor sealed tight.
