For 1984 to 1999 1340cc Evolution Big Twin owners looking for a reliable top-end refresh, this KB Performance piston kit is a solid choice. Sold as a set and oversized by .005 inches, these flat-top pistons maintain a 8.5:1 compression ratio. They are cast from T6 heat-treated 390 hypereutectic aluminum with 16% silicone, which is the secret to running tight clearances without the typical piston noise. It is important to note that the top compression ring will need additional clearance during the build, so be sure to follow the provided instructions. This kit provides a stable, long-lasting solution for your Evo's top end.
