About This Product
When you are looking for serious compression in a 1984 to 1999 1340cc Evolution Big Twin, this KB Performance pop-up kit delivers a 10.5:1 ratio. Sold as a set in standard bore size, these pistons feature a .200-inch dome. The T6 heat-treated 390 hypereutectic alloy uses 16% silicone to permit tight clearances, which keeps the engine running quiet and extends the life of the top end. As with most performance KB sets, the top compression ring will require additional clearance during installation. This is a high-performance upgrade designed for mechanics who want to maximize the potential of the Evo platform.
