About This Product
KB Performance 1200cc conversion kit fits 1986 to 2022 XL883 Sportster models. These are +.030" oversize pistons. They work with stock heads. They give 9:1 compression. The pistons are 390 hypereutectic cast aluminium with 16% silicone. Sold as a set. Tight clearances prevent piston slap and noise. On 2004 and later models the stock 883 cylinders cannot be bored out. The liners are too thin. You need separate 1200cc cylinders. Gap the top compression ring correctly per the instructions.
