About This Product
KB Performance piston kit converts an 883 Sportster to 1200. It fits 1986 to 2022 XL883 models. These are standard bore flat-top pistons. They work with stock unmodified heads. They give 9:1 compression. The pistons are T6 heat-treated 390 hypereutectic cast aluminium with 16% silicone. Tight clearances keep the top end quiet. Sold as a set. Wrist pins and rings are included. On 2004 and later 883 models the stock cylinder liners are too thin to bore. You will need 1200cc cylinders.
