About This Product
Specifically for the 2008 to 2012 XR1200 and 2008 to 2010 Buell 1200 XB, this KB Performance piston kit offers a high-strength forged aluminum solution for your top end. These +.010" oversize pistons are designed for stock stroke applications and can achieve up to 11.6:1 compression with 51cc heads, or a streetable 10.1:1 with 62cc heads. Sold as a set, they feature a domed head and offset wrist pins to ensure smooth, quiet operation. The T6 heat-treated construction provides the molecular integrity needed for high-revving performance. Because these pistons have a specific front and rear orientation due to the offset pins, careful attention to the installation instructions is required. This kit is perfect for refreshing a performance Sportster engine with superior components.
