About This Product
This KB Performance piston kit is a high-performance +.040" oversize solution for 2008 to 2012 XR1200 and 2008 to 2010 Buell 1200 XB models. Sold as a set, these forged aluminum pistons are designed for stock stroke applications and feature a domed head design. They provide a 10.1:1 compression ratio with 62cc heads, making them ideal for spirited street use. The T6 heat-treated alloy and 16% silicone content allow for tight clearances and reduced engine noise. Like all KB forged sets, these come with offset wrist pins, meaning there is a dedicated front and rear piston that must be installed correctly. This kit provides the structural integrity and precision machining required to keep your high-output V-twin running at its peak.
