Sold as a set, these .030-inch oversized forged pistons from KB Performance are engineered for 1979 to 1984 1340cc Shovelhead engines. Using 4032 alloy, these pistons offer the strength and molecular integrity needed for high-performance or heavy-duty use. They feature a domed head design that yields a 9.0:1 compression ratio when used with 112cc heads. The kit comes with rings, wrist pins, and retaining rings. Because these are forged, they require approximately .001 inch more piston-to-wall clearance than cast alternatives. The offset wrist pin design means there is a specific front and rear piston, so careful installation is required to ensure your Shovelhead runs smooth and strong.
