If you are tidying up the primary side of your Shovelhead or early Evolution, this Gardner-Westcott primary mount kit is a solid upgrade. It features stainless steel Allen head hardware that resists corrosion much better than stock fasteners. This comprehensive kit includes the hardware for the outer primary cover, as well as the inspection and derby cover bolts. It is designed to fit 1970 to 1986 4-speed FL, FX, and FXST models. Using stainless steel not only ensures longevity but also gives the motor a professional, finished look. It is a straightforward way to replace tired, rounded-off factory screws with something more durable.
