About This Product
Cometic gasket replaces OEM 16771-08. It fits 2004 through 2022 Sportster XL883, XL1200 and XR1200 models, plus 2003 through 2010 Buell XB9 and XB12 motorcycles. Use this straight swap for routine service or engine repair when the original seal fails. It holds up to oil and heat and meets the factory specification. Clean the sealing surface thoroughly before fitting. Torque to spec and check for weeping once the motor reaches running temperature.
