What happened
Plymouth Harley-Davidson Has Closed
Plymouth Harley-Davidson shut its doors on 19 November 2024. The dealership — the authorised Harley-Davidson franchise for the city and most of South West Devon — stopped trading when its parent company, Marsh Holdings Ltd, went into administration. If you bought a bike at Langage, booked it in there every spring, or just dropped by on a Saturday for a set of grips, you already know what was lost.
Landed here from the old plymouthharley-davidson.co.uk address? That is exactly why this page exists. The showroom has gone; your Harley has not. The parts that keep it running are still made and still stocked somewhere — and that somewhere now ships to your door.
Iron Stable is an online Harley-Davidson parts and accessories specialist. No showroom on the A38, no service bays — we will not pretend otherwise. What we do is narrower and simpler: get genuine and aftermarket parts to riders across the South West, usually inside two or three working days.
Please note: Iron Stable is not affiliated with, and is not a continuation of, the former Plymouth Harley-Davidson dealership or Marsh Motorcycles Ltd. We are a separate, independent retailer. We took on the old web address for one reason — so that riders searching for the closed dealership reach a working source of parts instead of a dead link.
For the record
The Plymouth Harley-Davidson Dealership
For the best part of a generation, Langage Business Park was where South West Harley owners headed. Plymouth Harley-Davidson — the trading name of Marsh Motorcycles Ltd — ran its showroom just off the A38 at Plympton, an easy run for riders coming in from Saltash, Ivybridge or down off the edge of Dartmoor. Sales, servicing, MOTs, a clothing wall and a parts counter, all under one roof.
That ended in November 2024. Marsh Holdings, the group behind the dealership, went into administration — handled by Westcotts Business Recovery — and the Plymouth showroom closed with it. It was not an isolated case: the UK Harley-Davidson dealer network has thinned noticeably since 2024, and this was one of several long-standing franchises to go.

Closed 19 November 2024. These details are published as a historical record of the former business — they do not reach a trading dealership today.
What has not changed is the bike in your garage. Genuine Harley-Davidson parts and good aftermarket alternatives are still made and still sold. The only real difference is how you get them: ordered online and brought to you by courier, rather than collected from the counter at Langage.
How we help
Parts & Accessories for South West Riders
Iron Stable carries 113,635+ Harley-Davidson parts and accessories — genuine OEM and aftermarket together. Every line has a real price on it and published fitment data, so you can be sure a part suits your bike before it goes anywhere near the basket.
Fast UK delivery
Most in-stock orders leave the same or next working day on a tracked courier. For a rider in Plymouth that is the part on your doorstep in two to three days — often quicker than the old round trip out to Langage and back. Delivery is free once your order clears our threshold, and we reach every PL, EX and TQ postcode in the South West.
Genuine or aftermarket — your call
On plenty of jobs you have a genuine choice: the Harley-Davidson part, or a quality aftermarket equivalent that does the same work for less. We stock both and label them plainly. Ride near the coast and salt air is the enemy, so on brake hardware and fasteners in particular it pays to spend where corrosion bites and save where it does not.
Returns, and a real person on the phone
Ordered the wrong thing? Sending it back is simple. And when you are not certain — a part number that needs cross-referencing, a "will this fit my 2016 Street Glide" question — our contact page reaches people who ride and wrench on these bikes, not a call-centre script.

What We Stock for Harley Owners
Servicing a daily ride or chasing a winter project — either way, the parts are here. A few good places to start:
Performance & engine
Exhaust systems and slip-ons, air intake kits and engine parts — whether that is a first Stage 1 breathe-and-tune or something a good deal deeper. Vance & Hines and S&S Cycle exhausts, plus Screamin' Eagle tuning kit, are all stocked.
Keeping it legal and running
Brake pads, discs and braided lines and lighting and electrical parts — the unglamorous kit that gets a bike through its MOT and keeps it safe on a wet Dartmoor descent in February.
Comfort & style
Seats and luggage for the longer Cornwall runs, bodywork and finishing parts for everything else. Not sure where to look first? The full category directory has the lot, and the brand index lets you shop by maker.
Find what actually fits
Quickest route to the right part: the Part Finder — year, model, family. Or start from the bike itself and browse parts organised by Harley-Davidson model.
If you rode with Plymouth H-D
For Former Plymouth Harley-Davidson Customers
A dealership closing is never just a shop closing. It is the staff who recognised your bike on sight, and the easy certainty that parts and a second opinion sat a short ride away. We are not going to pretend an online shop replaces that. It does not.
What we can do is keep the practical side simple. If Plymouth Harley-Davidson serviced your bike, every service item, consumable and OEM-equivalent part you used to collect from the counter is still available here — delivered wherever you are, from the Tamar across to the moor.
Got a question the parts desk would once have fielded — a number to cross-reference, a fitment to confirm before you commit? Drop us a line. And if you put proper miles in through the season, an Iron Pass at £25 a year tends to pay for itself fast once member pricing lands on every order.
Across the region
Areas We Serve
We send Harley-Davidson parts to riders right across the South West — and since Plymouth Harley-Davidson closed, that means a wide stretch of the region with no local franchised showroom left at all:
Plymouth and around: Plympton, Plymstock, Crownhill, Saltash,
Torpoint, Ivybridge, Yealmpton and Wembury.
Wider Devon: Tavistock, Yelverton, Okehampton, Exeter, Newton
Abbot, Torquay, Paignton and Totnes.
Into Cornwall: Liskeard, Callington, Looe and the south-east
Cornish coast.
Wherever you set off from, it works the same way: pick your parts, check the fitment, and a courier does the rest. No detour to a trading estate required.
Common questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Which Harley-Davidson dealers have closed recently?
Plymouth Harley-Davidson is the one most riders in the South West are asking about. It was the authorised Harley-Davidson dealership for the city, trading as Marsh Motorcycles Ltd from Langage Business Park in Plympton, and it stopped trading on 19 November 2024 when its parent group, Marsh Holdings Ltd, went into administration. It did not go alone — the UK Harley-Davidson dealer network has contracted noticeably since 2024, with a string of long-established showrooms shutting. For riders around Plymouth the upshot is simple: there is no franchised dealer on the doorstep any more. Parts are a different story, though. Genuine and aftermarket components for every model the dealership used to support are still made and still sold — they just arrive by courier now.
Can I still get parts for my Harley-Davidson near Plymouth?
Absolutely — and these days "near" barely comes into it. Iron Stable stocks tens of thousands of genuine and aftermarket parts and ships to every postcode in Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall. Most in-stock orders go out the same or next working day, so the part is usually with you inside two or three days. No showroom visit required.
Do you deliver to Plymouth and Devon?
Yes — and a long way beyond. We cover the whole UK, every PL, EX and TQ postcode included, from Plympton and Saltash across to Exeter and Torquay. UK delivery is free once your order clears our threshold; below that it goes out tracked. And if something turns up that is not right for the bike, sending it back is straightforward.
Is Iron Stable connected to the former Plymouth Harley-Davidson?
No — and it matters that we are clear about it. Iron Stable is a separate, independent online retailer. We are not connected to the former Plymouth Harley-Davidson dealership or to Marsh Motorcycles Ltd, and we are not a continuation of that business. We did acquire the old plymouthharley-davidson.co.uk web address, for one practical reason: so that riders searching for the closed dealership reach a working parts shop instead of an error page.
What Harley-Davidson models do you supply parts for?
Pretty much all of them. The full modern line-up is covered — Touring bikes like the Road Glide and Street Glide, the Softail family from the Fat Boy to the Heritage Classic and Low Rider, the Sportster and Nightster, the older Dyna models and the CVO range — plus a good depth of stock for bikes well into their second decade. The honest catch is fitment: a part for a 2009 Touring frame is not a part for a 2020 one. So before you order, run your bike through the Part Finder by year, model and family, and you will only ever see what actually bolts on.
