This Samwel +16-inch Springer fork is engineered for custom builds requiring extreme length and improved handling characteristics. Built from drop forged steel with oval rear legs, it features a black finish on the fork and legs with chrome springs. To combat the heavy steering and 'wheel flop' often associated with long front ends, this fork is designed with a 3-degree positive offset, which reduces trail on raked frames. It is built for a 3/4-inch axle and fits 1936 to early 1946 UL and EL style setups, as well as custom high-neck or raked frames. Note that this offset design requires a specific center part for mounting late-style handlebars. Always ensure an adequate damping system is installed for safe operation on the road.
