It is designed specifically for 1937 to 1948 74" Flathead models and is used in conjunction with the 25591-37 pinion shaft bushing and the associated dowel pin. This tool ensures the bushing is seated perfectly and allows for accurate drilling of the dowel pin hole, preventing the bushing from spinning in the case. For a professional-grade engine rebuild on a vintage Flathead, this jig eliminates the guesswork and ensures a long-lasting repair.
