About This Product
This JIMS sprocket shaft is precision machined in Camarillo, California from specially ordered steel and is designed for 1929 to 1973 45-inch (750cc) Flathead models. The shaft includes a keyway and requires key 23985-12 for installation. A 7974 nut should be fitted on the flywheel side. Every shaft is thoroughly inspected and heat treated, with threads specially processed to handle elevated torque loads. Ground diameters are held concentric to within 0.0003 inches and finished to 16 microns or better, supporting accurate engine assembly.
