Designed for 1979 to 1984 1340cc Shovelhead models, this S&S forged piston kit is an excellent choice for a stock-style overhaul. These pistons are .020 inch oversize with a 3-1/2 inch bore and maintain the standard 8:1 compression ratio. By using a modern forged alloy and advanced skirt profiles, S&S has created a piston that offers the longevity of a forging with the quiet running characteristics usually only found in cast pistons. Sold as a set, the kit includes the pistons, wrist pins, clips, and rings. As with any top-end rebuild, ensure a knowledgeable technician verifies the fitment and follows the recommended break-in procedure for overhauled engines.
