About This Product
This S&S forged piston kit provides a high-quality replacement for 1340cc Shovelhead engines from 1979 to 1984. These .030 inch oversize pistons feature a 3-1/2 inch bore and a standard 8:1 compression ratio for use with the stock 4-1/4 inch stroke. The forged construction and advanced skirt design ensure these pistons are both durable and quiet, making them a perfect upgrade for a reliable street build. Sold as a set, this kit comes with everything needed for the swap, including wrist pins, clips, and rings. Proper installation by a professional mechanic is required to ensure the correct piston-to-cylinder clearance and a successful break-in period.
