When you are building a high-displacement Twin Cam, the larger cylinder spigot bore can often compromise the threads of the center right crankcase bolt. This JIMS top center case bolt facer tool is designed to spot face the case so the bolt head seats perfectly flat against the surface. This ensures proper clamping force and structural integrity for big bore applications. It is specifically intended for use on 1999 to 2017 Twin Cam engines with big bore cylinders. For the best results, this tool should be used in conjunction with the JIMS through bolt kit, part number 961573, which is sold separately. It is a precision tool for builders who demand perfect alignment and retention in their performance engines.
