About This Product
This JIMS sprocket shaft is precision machined in Camarillo, California from specially ordered steel and is designed for 1970 to 1971 Big Twin models fitted with OEM flywheels. The shaft features a keyway and requires key 23985-56. The taper is 8.5 degrees and the shaft measures 4.262 inches from the bearing shoulder to the end of the small thread. A JIMS 24023-36 nut is used on the flywheel side and a 24003-55 nut on the sprocket side. Note: For 1970 to 1999 aftermarket flywheels with a keyway and 6-degree taper, use JIMS shaft MCS 502616.
