About This Product
WAI Global unmoulded alternator stator. The windings are exposed rather than buried in epoxy. Airflow around the coils keeps temperatures down. That prevents the insulation breaking down and the charging system failing. This one fits 1970 to 1975 Big Twin models. These Shovelhead charging systems run 12 volt. Pull the primary cover. Check the rotor bolts for looseness. Fit a new derby seal and gasket while you are in there. Test the charging output before you finish.
