About This Product
MCS roll pin for the shifter cam support on 1986–1990 XL Sportster models. Two are used per application. They locate the shifter pawl carrier support inside the transmission. Replace them whenever you have the gearbox apart. Do not reuse a loose or wallowed pin. A slack pin here causes vague shifting and lost neutral. Check the support bore for elongation while it is apart.
