This kingsize Sportster gas tank is a great upgrade for riders who want to keep the classic peanut look but need more range. It holds 3.1 gallons and fits 1958-1978 XL Sportster models, as well as various custom applications. The tank features a right-side petcock location and is compatible with pre-1983 bayonet-style gas caps. It is wider than the stock unit to accommodate the extra fuel while maintaining that iconic Harley-Davidson silhouette. As with any aftermarket tank, we always recommend pressure testing, sealing, and test-fitting before you send it off for paint.
