About This Product
The Legacy series 3.3-gallon fuel tank offers a classic dished look for carbureted Sportsters. With a 12.5-liter capacity, this tank is designed for 2004 to 2006 XL models. It features a bung for a 22mm petcock and is designed to take 1996-up screw-in style gas caps, neither of which are included. As with all custom tanks, we recommend that you pressure test, seal, and test fit the tank before it is painted and installed. The finish provided is for rust prevention during storage only. This tank is a perfect choice for riders wanting to add a custom vintage touch to their mid-2000s Sportster. Replaces OEM part 515797.
