About This Product
For those looking to increase their range or replace a damaged set of tanks, these six-gallon flatside gas tanks are a great solution. They are designed as a stock-style replacement for 1984 to 1999 Softail models and 1985 to 1986 FXWG models, as well as custom frames using the flatside mounting pattern. These tanks are built for use with 1983-up screw-type gas caps. They are sold as a pair and come with a protective coating for rust prevention during storage. As with any aftermarket sheet metal, we always recommend pressure testing for leaks and performing a full test fit on the bike before you send them off for paint and final installation.
