About This Product
This JIMS 5th gear mainshaft is a main drive gear designed for 1991 to 2006 5-speed Big Twin models, excluding the 2006 6-speed Dyna. It comes with the bearing pre-installed and is a replacement for OEM part number 35029-91A. Note that this is a non high-contact gear, so it will not fit 1995 to 2006 models unless the corresponding gear is also replaced. JIMS uses premium materials and heat-treating processes to ensure this gear can handle the demands of high-mileage riding. It is an essential part for any mechanic looking to restore the smooth operation of a late-model 5-speed gearbox with a trusted, precision-machined component.
