This S&S big bore piston kit is the perfect solution for converting a 1999 to 2006 88-inch Twin Cam engine into a 95-inch performer. Sold as a set, these forged pistons feature a 5.3cc pop-up dome that increases the compression ratio to a healthy 9.8:1 when used with stock or S&S cylinder heads. The kit includes pistons, rings, wrist pins, and clips. To install these, your stock cylinders must be bored out to 3-7/8 inches, but no crankcase boring or re-balancing is required, making this a relatively straightforward path to more power. As with any high-performance engine work, we recommend a knowledgeable mechanic handles the installation and ensures all clearances are checked before the first fire-up.
