About This Product
Upgrade your 883 Sportster to 1200cc with this high-compression piston kit from KB Performance. Sold as a set in a +.030" oversize, these pistons offer a 10:1 compression ratio and are compatible with stock, unmodified heads. The pistons are cast from T6 heat-treated 390 hypereutectic aluminum with 16% silicone, ensuring they can run at tight clearances for a long-lasting, quiet engine. This kit fits 1986 to 2022 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 models. During assembly, the top compression ring will need additional clearance. Note that for 2004-up 883 models, the stock cylinders cannot be bored out to 1200cc due to thin liners, so replacement 1200cc cylinders are required.
