About This Product
Sold as a set, this standard-size piston kit from KB Performance is a perfect choice for refreshing a 1984 to 1999 Evolution Big Twin. These flat-top pistons provide an 8.5:1 compression ratio and are cast from T6 heat-treated 390 Hypereutectic aluminum. The high 16% silicone content means you can run tighter clearances than standard cast pistons, resulting in a quieter top end and excellent wear resistance. Each piston weighs 350 grams and is designed for a 3.4980-inch bore. Like other kits in this series, the top compression ring requires additional clearance, so checking the instructions during your top-end rebuild is essential for a reliable, long-lasting engine.
