These Cometic rocker cover gaskets fit 1948 to 1965 Panhead models, replacing the original cork 17541-48A and its variants. Each gasket is precision-cut from .060-inch AFM (Aluminum Foamet Material), featuring a rigid aluminum core bonded with chemically blown nitrile synthetic rubber on both faces. This construction creates a reliable seal without needing additional gasket sealers or silicone beads. The image shows the characteristic gray composite finish with accurately positioned mounting holes ready for installation. Sold as a set of two, these gaskets offer a modern upgrade over traditional cork, resisting compression set and oil degradation better than stock. Perfect for keeping your top end dry and your Panhead running clean.
