For owners of early 4-speed Sportsters, this Cometic EST top end gasket kit is the ideal choice for 1986-1990 XL883 models. Sold as a set, it includes all the necessary gaskets, seals, and O-rings for a complete top end rebuild. The kit features 3.00" bore Multi-Layer Steel head gaskets at .040" thickness, which provide a much more reliable seal than stock. The cylinder base and rocker cover gaskets are .020" Single-Layer Steel with a high-temperature Viton coating. This kit is designed to withstand the rigors of the road while preventing the common leaks associated with older Evo Sportster engines.
