About This Product
Designed for 1948 to 1984 Big Twin engines with 3-5/8 inch big bore cylinders, this KB Performance piston kit is oversized by .030 inches. Sold as a set, these pistons are compatible with strokes from 4-1/4 inches to 4-3/4 inches, supporting 88 to 98 cubic inch engine builds. They provide a 10.0:1 compression ratio and are crafted from T6 heat-treated 390 hypereutectic aluminum with 16% silicone for tight clearances and quiet operation. Be aware that the top compression ring requires additional clearance. For strokes longer than 4-1/4 inches, ensure you are using the correct cylinder length or stroker plates to achieve the proper compression ratio and clearance.
